Caitlin Lofton is an Associate Professor and Clinical Coordinator for the Nursing Program at Â鶹¹ÙÍø & Wales University, Charlotte. She has a B.S.N. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a M.S. degree in Nursing Education from Duke University. Caitlin Lofton completed her educational journey at Bryan College of Health Sciences in Lincoln, NE; first obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Simulation Education and then earning her Education Doctorate with emphasis in Nursing Education. Her clinical background is in emergency medicine, where she has served in various roles from staff nurse to clinical supervisor. Caitlin also holds her certification in Emergency Nursing and is a Certified Nurse Educator. Caitlin Lofton lives in the Charlotte area and enjoys traveling in and out of the country. Her love of travel and nursing has led her to participate and lead several medical mission trips to Peru. She also enjoys baking, reading, hiking, and riding her e-bike.
