Calling All Mixologists! Â鶹¹ÙÍø + Bigelow Tea Want Your Recipes

Last year, Bigelow Tea CEO Cindi Bigelow spoke at Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Providence Campus as the university’s inaugural Visiting Industry Professional (VIP), where she shared her leadership philosophy.

Now Bigelow’s company is collaborating with Â鶹¹ÙÍø for an exciting beverage contest. The theme is “Super Beverages” — namely, alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages that include ingredients with known healthy and/or probiotic benefits. Â鶹¹ÙÍø Providence students from ALL majors are invited to submit their original recipes for a flavorful and health-forward beverage — see complete rules below for all the details!

Â鶹¹ÙÍø and Bigelow Tea are sponsoring a beverage recipe contest.

Recipes submitted must contain Bigelow Tea from the sponsored product list and contain a minimum 1 fluid ounce for alcoholic recipes and 2 fluid ounces for spirit-free recipes.

The following teas will be available for competition use:

  • Bigelow Chamomile Mint
  • Bigelow Orange & Spice
  • Bigelow Jasmine
  • Bigelow Pomegranate Pizzazz
  • Bigelow Ginger Peach with Turmeric
  • Bigelow Matcha Green Tea with Turmeric
  • Bigelow Wild Blueberry & Açaí
  • Bigelow Green Tea with Ginger plus Probiotics
  • Bigelow Lavender Chamomile plus Probiotics
  • Bigelow Constant Comment

Teas for recipe development can be picked up at the mixology lab in the CCCE building (Harborside) or at the College of Hospitality Management (Downcity).
