Â鶹¹ÙÍø Faculty Members Recognized for Excellence in Their Fields

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – February 16, 2022 – Two Â鶹¹ÙÍø & Wales University professors were recently honored for excellence in their fields. Chef Ray McCue was inducted into the Académie Culinaire de France association and Associate Professor Paul A. Ullucci, Jr., PT, PhD, DPT, ATC, SCS, CSCS was inducted into the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Hall of Fame.

Chef Ray McCue is a Master Instructor at Â鶹¹ÙÍø & Wales’ College of Food, Innovation & Technology (CFIT) and has served on the Â鶹¹ÙÍø & Wales faculty since 2007. Chef McCue inducted into the Académie Culinaire de France association at a ceremony on February 3, 2023 at the Consulate General of France on 5th Avenue, NY, NY. Chef McCue received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Â鶹¹ÙÍø & Wales University.

The Académie Culinaire de France is one of the oldest association of chefs in the world. Celebrating 140 years of existence, their aim is to gather professional members worldwide: chefs, pastry chefs, chocolate makers, ice-cream makers, caterers, and food scientist who are competent and respectful of French gastronomy.

Associate Professor Paul A. Ullucci, Jr., PT, PhD, DPT, ATC, SCS, CSCS is the Director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the College of Health & Wellness at Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Providence Campus. He served as the Associate Dean in the College of Health & Wellness for almost 2 years prior to this new position. He is a graduate of Northeastern University and has graduate degrees from the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Associate Professor Ullucci has been inducted into the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Hall of Fame Class of 2023.

NATA represents and supports 40,000 members of the athletic training profession. Athletic trainers are health care professionals who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and sport-related illnesses.
