Professor Sparks has 15-plus years experience in public management, project management and engineering. His current research focus is on marketing technology and ecommerce, international retailing, customer relationship management systems and international marketing.

In addition to leading Â鶹¹ÙÍø Charlotte’s Fashion Merchandising & Retailing major, Professor Egeln’s research areas of interest include consumer behavior in the apparel industry, online retailing and baby boomer consumer behavior in the online channel.
