MSCND Accreditation
Â鶹¹ÙÍø & Wales University’s Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics (MSCND) program is a candidacy program seeking accreditation by the (ACEND) for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2190, Chicago, Illinois 60606-6995, 800-877-1600 ext. 5400. The program is an ACEND Future Education Model (FEM) Graduate Program (GP).
ACEND Future Education Model Graduate Programs integrate didactic coursework with supervised experiential learning in a competency-based curriculum designed to prepare nutrition and dietetics practitioners for future practice. Program graduates will be eligible to take the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credentialing exam to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
Effective January 1, 2024, CDR will require a minimum of a master’s degree to be eligible to take the credentialing exam to become an RDN.
