Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Undergraduate Application Information & Documents Needed

  • Secondary school transcripts showing subjects and marks received with your graduation date noted. Students who have not yet graduated from secondary school must submit a transcript showing all completed work, expected results and graduation date may be submitted for review. Note that an Admissions decision can be made from copies, official documents must be submitted prior to enrollment in classes.
  • If transcripts are not in English, certified translations must be submitted with all non-English documents.
  • Proof of English proficiency, if applicable. We accept several English proficiency test scores, including Duolingo, IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc. Minimum English proficiency scores are outlined .
  • Either a completed and signed Â鶹¹ÙÍø Undergraduate Financial Declaration Form (PDF) OR a certified bank statement.

Upon admission, the following documents are needed for the I-20 process:

  • A completed and signed Â鶹¹ÙÍø Undergraduate Financial Declaration Form (PDF)
  • A certified bank statement* or government sponsorship letter verifying financial support ($68,000 USD Providence campus; $64,000 USD Charlotte campus and ESL Only Providence $37,000 USD)* for one academic year.
    Note that bank statements can be under your, your parent’s, family members or a sponsor’s account issued from a bank and cannot be older than three months from the time of issue for the I-20 process.
  • Copy of biographical section (photo page) of your valid passport.
  • International transfer applicants must submit all secondary and college transcripts along with a certified course-by-course credential evaluation by a . Credential evaluation must be submitted prior to enrollment.

The submission of standardized test scores (SAT, ACT) is optional and students who do not submit scores will not be disadvantaged in the review process. Essays and portfolios are optional but may be submitted to supplement the Â鶹¹ÙÍø application.

*If your bank statement shows less than one academic year (the amount listed above), submit it anyway — your Â鶹¹ÙÍø Admissions Concierge will discuss options with you. It is important to note that Â鶹¹ÙÍø awards substantial scholarships based on your academic record, which reduces your actual cost of attendance. Don’t be discouraged — upload your statement in the portal.

Graduate Applicant Information & Documents Needed

  • Official transcript with a conferred degree from a U.S. postsecondary institution
  • Official transcript from a postsecondary institution in a country where English is the official, national language.
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Resume
  • Letters of Recommendation, depending on program
  • Minimum English proficiency scores as outlined

Requirements after admission for I-20 process:

  • A copy of an official original bank statement which cannot be more than three months old, verifying financial support for one academic year. Note that you may need to submit an updated bank statement to be issued an I-20.
  • A completed and signed Â鶹¹ÙÍø Graduate Student Financial Declaration Form (PDF).
  • A copy of the biographical section of your current passport, including your photo.

Undergraduate Applicant Information

For Fall enrollment, Â鶹¹ÙÍø will begin issuing international undergraduate admission decisions in early December. After early December, provided all required documentation is received by Â鶹¹ÙÍø, applicants receive admission decisions within one to two weeks of applying for all term starts. Again, it is imperative the university receives your completed application and all supporting documentation when requested in order for us to adhere to this admission timeline. Spring Semester Deadlines

Students are encouraged to complete the application process as soon as possible before the semester start, preferably 30 days prior.

Graduate Applicant Information

International graduate admission decisions are made on a rolling basis, year-round. Provided all required documentation is received by Â鶹¹ÙÍø, applicants receive admission decisions within one to two weeks of applying. Again, it is imperative the university receives your completed application and all supporting documentation when requested in order for us to adhere to this admission timeline. Students are encouraged to apply 60 days prior to your intended start date.

US Transfer Applicant Information

Students applying for transfer admission to Â鶹¹ÙÍø from another institution in the USA are subject to the above review processes. However, your I-20 can be transferred only after it has been released by your current institution.
